the studio: design it, see it in 3D

Miaow Bag

A Salvadoran online store where you design your own tote bag or mug, see it in 3D before buying and check out without an account. T-shirts are launching.

Role
Full-stack, UI/UX, 3D modeling and launch
Year
2025 – 2026
Stack
Angular 19 · TypeScript · Three.js · Supabase · Tailwind CSS · Playwright

The challenge

Making what the customer sees in 3D exactly what gets printed, and letting them buy as a guest without opening a security hole. The design is the texture of the model's front panel, and the print area comes from the real bag and heat press measurements (28 × 28 cm on the tote), so every order arrives ready for DTF printing. Guest checkout runs on an anonymous Supabase session, Row Level Security on every table and Cloudflare Turnstile.

The result

A full e-commerce site in production: a design studio with layers, curved text, emojis, undo/redo and a live 3D preview on models built in Blender from the real products. One-page checkout with bank transfer or cash on delivery, an admin panel for orders, per-variant inventory and designs, and an in-browser "Improve quality" upscaler with TensorFlow.js at no server cost. ~31,700 lines of TypeScript, 86 components, 62 documented architecture decisions and E2E tests with Playwright and axe.

thanks for stopping by, the door stays open.
